Benefit
This is a natural minor classic 9 note scale. This scale is calming and also slightly mysterious. This scale is easy to become calm with and fall asleep to because it's soft and beautiful. As with all Manastone steel tongue drums, all the notes are in scale. That means it's in perfect harmony with itself, so it's easy to make it sound good. It's easy to play, and good for collaboration with other musicians.

"Big bear" is a Chinese minor scale.
Dàxióng
is "big bear" in Chinese, it's powerful, strong and driving, easy to jam on.
Babies and children love this scale! They tend to remain transfixed, curious and calm when it is played.
Feeling
The feeling of this drum is primarily calm. It contains some minor chords which make it less "bright" than the F mixotonic, making it more calming-feeling.
Playability
This is a very playable drum because the notes and combination of notes (chords) are very familiar to our ears.
MATERIALS & BUILD
Drums made of tone tempered steel and sealed with a powder coat finish that is very tough, UV resistant, weather resistant and doesn’t pollute the environment or outgas like other paints.

: Gold Stone, Silver Stone, Copper Stone, Black Stone, or Plain Brushed Steel. Two colors + (unless pictured and therefore included in price already).
If not pictured (and therefore priced) for this listing, then the sparkly finishes (required for floating drums) are + Chameleon Cherry or + Chameleon Sapphire.
