ORIGINAL Style "A" U.S. Music Roll A-1115 Many rags

Description

This auction is for an ORIGINAL U.S. Music Roll style "A" Number A-1115 from 1913. The photographs show all the problems with the roll. After the first three feet, the roll is perfect. All photos are from the first few feet. The roll plays perfectly.  The cutout areas are on the side of the roll with the sustain pedal, and these areas aren't very noticeable. On the side of the roll with the mandolin chain perfs and rewind, there are no problems. You can see a couple of spots where some very slight cutouts are taped up in order to avoid any possibility of accidental rewind. These problems won't diminish your enjoyment of this roll.
U.S. Music rolls from this period are very rare, and your likelihood of ever seeing one come up for sale is very low. The roll plays on Seeburg L,E,K and many other machines. The roll has a number of rags and peppy marches and songs. There are 15 songs on the roll. The tune line-up is:
